Textiles When creating my Textiles, I transform the surface of fabric by batik, tie-dye, marbling, freehand painting, appliqué, and air- brushing, embellishing and quilting. I am very much encouraged by my heritage and the struggle of my people. Many of my art pieces are dedicated to those ancestors who made my life possible.
